Members of the Department can obtain access to public and non-public databases for the purpose of conducting outcomes research.  Some of these data sets can either be purchased or will require collaboration with faculty who have access to these data sets.  Available data sets include the following:

 
 
       HCUP (Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project):
                   Nationwide Inpatient Sample (NIS)
                   Kid's Inpatient Database (KID)
                   State Inpatient Databases (SID)
                   State Ambulatory Databases (SASD)
                   State Emergency Department Database (SEDD)
