Dr. Jacek Wojtczak and Dr. Davide Cattano, Associate Professor of Anesthesiology, UT Houston, will be starting a bi-center study to evaluate surface anatomy of the neck by combining external neck landmarks, 3D laser scans and an infra-hyoid 3D ultrasound exam.  A standardized system to assess the hyo-thyroid space and the larynx is esssential for the development of new supraglottic devices and videolaryngoscopes.  Dr. Wojtczak will be visiting Texas Medical Center on November 28-29, 2011.
