Dr. P.J. Papadakos, Professor of Anesthesiology, Surgery and Neurosurgery, has reached a major academic milestone. His paper titled, "Effects of inhaled nitric oxide in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome: Results of a randomized phase II trial", published in Critical Care Medicine in 1998 has been cited 500 times. This places it in the realm of a major influence in the medical literature which greatly contributed to our understanding of ARDS.
