![]() Pediatric AnesthesiologistThe University of Rochester Medical Center is embarking on the construction of a free standing pediatric hospital. In preparation for the opening of Golisano Children's Hospital, we are recruiting 1-2 pediatric anesthesiologists to join our group of fellowship trained pediatric anesthesia specialists. Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong is the regional referral center for children with expanding clinical services for a population of 2.2 million. The Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology works closely with our surgical colleagues and pediatric nursing teams in all subspecialty areas of pediatric surgery. Growing inpatient and outpatient services in the full spectrum of pediatric surgical subspecialties are well established with 6000 cases/year. Specific training and/or experience in pediatric cardiac anesthesia is desired but not necessary. Those who wish to maintain their skills in adult anesthesiology are welcomed. An academic position is available with competitive compensation package at all ranks, tailored to individual interests in clinical service, teaching, and scholarly activity.

We are seeking a BC/BE anesthesiologist, within the Division of Pain Management. Sub-divisions in the process of expansion and development include Acute and Chronic Pain, and Regional Anesthesia The clinical practice with anesthesiologists, a physiatrist, psychologists, nurse practitioners, fellows and residents includes a full spectrum of opportunities for development. Practice may be limited to non-OR sites or include the general OR. Inpatient and outpatient services are well established with substantive opportunities for teaching in an ACGME fellowship program. Clinical and basic research opportunities in industry or NIH funded studies are available. Ability to provide a wide variety of invasive and non-invasive treatments preferred.
